In 2023, Senior Living at The Greens in Spring, TX, underwent a transformation into a modern assisted living and memory care community. The project was led by Mark Shader, Chief Operating Officer at Senior Living Fund, and Chris Black, President of Lux: Design + Manufacturing, who combined their efforts to create a community that balances elegance, functionality, and comfort for its residents.

The community's design welcomes residents with a modern farmhouse-inspired entrance, combining stone, wood, and lush landscaping. Inside, the spacious, light-filled lobby features expansive seating, custom millwork, and a large stone fireplace, offering a luxurious yet comfortable space for socializing and relaxation. The community theater provides plush seating and stylish décor, perfect for events, movie nights, and lectures.

The outdoor courtyards are beautifully landscaped, providing peaceful retreats with shaded seating and garden nooks for residents to connect with nature. The on-site salon offers a spa-like atmosphere with beauty and wellness services, contributing to the well-being of residents.

The dining area is a sophisticated space where residents can enjoy meals together, with a grand piano adding to the ambiance. Recreational activities include a billiard room, offering a space for friendly competition and relaxation. Outdoor amenities are enhanced by a resort-style pool and the Twilight Courtyard, illuminated by string lights, creating a serene environment for evening gatherings.
